KEY PROJECTS IN EMERGING LITHIUM DISTRICTS

Arizona Lithium Ltd. is a lithium exploration & development company with its head office in Perth, Western Australia. Arizona Lithium trades on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) under the symbol AZL. The company is currently exploring and developing its two main projects, The Big Sandy project in Arizona, USA and the Prairie Lithium project in Saskatchewan, Canada. The company also has BLM claims for exploration near Lordsburg, New Mexico, USA. Arizona Lithium’s main office and Lithium Research Center (LRC) in North America are located in Tempe, Arizona, with a field office in Saskatchewan.

THE BIG SANDY PROJECT

The Big Sandy is a strategically located sedimentary resource 2 hours north of Phoenix on I93. The maiden mineral resource was announced in 2019, highlighting that 4% of the property held approximately 330,000 tonnes of LCE with a peak lithium concentration of 4,380 ppm. The Big Sandy is comprised of 331 Bureau of Land Management (BLM) claims in Arizona that covers approximately 25km2. Metallurgical test work has been complete on the project, and samples of high purity lithium have been produced.

THE PRAIRIE LITHIUM PROJECT

The Prairie Lithium project was founded in 2019 and is located in southeast Saskatchewan near the cities of Weyburn and Estevan. The Prairie Lithium project is currently focused on exploring and developing the Duperow Aquifer, within the Williston Basin, where the company holds >390,000 acres of subsurface mineral permits. The project has a defined total resource of 6.3 MT LCE at 105 mg/L Li (4.5 MT LCE Indicated & 1.8 MT LCE Inferred). With backgrounds in the mining and petroleum industries, the team have the expertise required to understand how to analyze lithium in brines, map the hydrochemistry, delineate the reservoir quality, model the deliverability of the resource and bring the resource to surface through drilling deep wells.

THE LITHIUM RESEARCH CENTRE

The Lithium Research Center (LRC) is located in Tempe, Arizona. The facility is designed around world class laboratory equipment to produce trusted and reliable data for process design and operations. Lithium for use in batteries has very stringent quality parameter’s, and as such, that means that flow sheets for lithium mines must be built upon high quality reliable lab data, this is the focus of the LRC. The LRC also provides ample space to test various flow sheet technologies in pilot plant operations for our project’s, and others
